Center for Business Case Studies in SBM of Shanghai International Studies University (hereinafter referred to as the case center), based on the strong faculty, fully exert the advantages of the traditional language to develop the advantages of original, local, high-quality advanced case and to push case teaching as a fundamental mission. The case center is also committed to the case-based teaching reform and scientific research innovation, so as to provide a powerful support for the various kinds of teaching projects and talents cultivation in the college.

The case center connects theory and practice, develops extensive contact and cooperation with enterprises, and establishes multiple case enterprise bases, which enables case teaching and research to take root in practice, and finally commits itself to promoting the improvement of China's local management theory through case study.

The case center carries out extensive foreign cooperation and exchanges and introduces high-quality case resources. In addition to in-depth exchanges with relevant domestic institutions and case centers of other universities, the case center cooperates with universities with a high level of case studies in the United States, Canada, Taiwan and other countries and regions, striving to become a first-class management case center in China.
