Relying on the Laboratory of Applied Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences and the Key Laboratory of Applied Brain and Cognitive Sciences, the Institute of Neural Information System and User Behavior was established. It is dedicated to exploring the user needs and preferences, and accurately interpreting the internal mechanism of user behavior. The institute is oriented by the common research issues. And with the Interdisciplinary integration method of behavioral experiments, user big data and neural technologies, it aims to optimize the system design under the background of new technology, better research on the basic issues of how information technology serving more efficiently for the users, and provide theoretical support for the application of information technology, user experience optimization and enterprise efficiency improvement, etc.
The institute attracts 1 Winner of the New Century Talent Program of the MOE, 1 Shanghai Distinguished Professor, 1 Jiang Yiwei Award Winner, 1 Winner of Shanghai Super Postdoctoral Program and other outstanding scholars to research on user behavior, Cognitive decision-making, neural mechanism, information economy and related aspects. The team members have published more than 100 papers in important domestic and foreign journals such as Nature Human Behavior, NeuroImage, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Risk Management, Management World, Journal of Management Science and have undertaken important scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Project, National Self-discipline Project, Consulting Research Project of Chinese Academy of Engineering and other important research projects in the past five years.
