On 18th, Jan., the unveiling ceremony of SISU International Fashion Management Internship Base was held at SIFEC to act in concert with the deep strategic cooperation between SISU and Shangtex Co., Ltd.
Prof. Fan Zheng, Dean of SISU SBM, Mr. Wu Renjun, President of SIFEC, and Mr. Xu Tianyu, Vice-president of SIFEC, attended the ceremony. In his address, Prof. Fan expressed his belief that the tremendous fashion industry resources from Shangtex will bring more breakthroughs about fashion to SISU MBA courses in practice, and lead to a new leap for the fashion education by such kind of powerful cooperation. According to the strategic cooperation framework agreement of both sides, SISU and SIFEC will set up a fashion industry academy with joint efforts to promote the development of fashion business in Shanghai.
After the ceremony, SISU MBA students started their first lesson given by Prof. Francoise Tellier on the strategy for fashion and luxuries as well as the management on supply chain. Professor Tellier is working with SIFEC in the field of fashion management.
