Against the backdrop of revolutionary applications of big data and artificial intelligence technology, as well as significant advancements in intelligent algorithms, and driven by strategic measures such as the National 14th Five Year Plan and 2035 Vision Outline, the digital economy, data elements, and governance, China's information systems industry is facing a series of new development opportunities and profound challenges, Related research and practice are fully entering a new leap from "digitization" to "digital intelligence". In this context, from December 2nd to 4th, 2022, the CNAIS 2022 Information System Engineering Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering, with the theme of "Innovation and Management of Information Systems in the New Leap Era of Digital Intelligence", hosted by SBM, was grandly held online.
The conference was hosted by the Information Systems Engineering Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering (CNAIS) and hosted by the School of International Business Administration of Shanghai International Studies University. It was also organized by the International Information Systems Association (AIS), the Chinese Society of Information Economics, the Information Management Professional Committee of the Chinese Management Modernization Research Association, and the Information Systems and Digital Innovation Branch of the Management Science and Engineering Society Supported by the Virtual Teaching and Research Office of Information Management and Information Systems of the Ministry of Education (led by Shanghai International Studies University) and Tsinghua University Press.
Nearly 1700 domestic and foreign experts, scholars, and students in the field of information systems from over 350 universities, including Yang Xiaoguang, Chairman of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering, Feng Juan, Vice Chairman of the International Information Systems Association (AIS), and Professor Xu Xin, Chairman of the CNAIS 2022 Conference, have registered to attend the conference. The cumulative number of online viewers of the conference is close to 9000.
President Li Yansong of SBM, Dean Pan Yu of SBM, Chairman Yang Xiaoguang of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering, Vice Chairman Feng Juan of the International Information Systems Association (AIS), and Professor Xu Xin, Chairman of the CNAIS 2022 Conference, delivered speeches respectively. The speech session was presided over by Professor Ma Baojun, Chairman of the Conference Procedure Committee and Professor of SISU.
After the opening ceremony, a total of four specially invited guests from both domestic and foreign countries gave keynote speeches. Professor Andrew Burton Jones, editor in chief of MIS Quarterly, starts from the theme of "digital health" and delves into how scholars in the field of information systems can conduct meaningful and valuable research based on the current industry situation. Researcher Xing Chunxiao from Tsinghua University focused on the important scenario of the new generation of information systems - the metaverse, exploring the definition, characteristics, elements, ecology, and application cases of information systems of the metaverse, and pointing out the development direction and main trends of the metaverse. Professor Lu Wei from Wuhan University introduced the research background, methods, ideas, and team research results of intelligent text information recognition, focusing on text information, user behavior, and human-machine collaborative interaction costs of intelligent recognition. Minister Pei Yuyun of Shanghai Big Data Center deeply introduced the concept of "digital transformation to promote service methods", emphasizing the concept of "one network for all" service to lead public services, optimize convenient services, and drive innovation in service supply through scenario applications. The four keynote speeches mentioned above were hosted by Professor Xu Xin from Tsinghua University, Professor Qiu Lingyun from Peking University, Professor Sun Jianjun from Nanjing University, and Professor Huang Lihua from Fudan University.
The experts and scholars at this conference had in-depth and extensive exchanges and discussions on information system innovation and management in the new leap era of digital intelligence, how to respond to a series of new development opportunities and profound challenges faced by the information system field, and how to promote the comprehensive entry of relevant research and practice into the new leap from "dataization" to "digital intelligence". The discussion results will effectively promote academic research in the field of information systems in China Industry innovation and application, as well as the further development of the information systems discipline in the era of new leaps in digital intelligence.
