On June 29, 2023, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation announced the "List of 73rd Batch of General Funders of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation". SBM's Chen Bei's project "Theoretical and Empirical Research on Corporate Bond Pricing: A Deep Put Option Perspective" was supported by Professor Zhang Jian. This is the first time our postdoctoral fellow has received this general funding.

This project studies the theoretical impact of the pricing factors of deep put options on bond prices from the perspective of options, and further demonstrates the impact of stock crash risk and different volatility characteristics on bond returns. Finally, this project will combine traditional pricing factors with option pricing factors, and draw on machine learning econometric models to construct a more predictive bond pricing model.

The China Postdoctoral Science Foundation is a scientific research fund specifically established by the state for postdoctoral researchers who are currently on the site. Its aim is to promote outstanding postdoctoral researchers with development potential and innovation ability to conduct innovative research during the site, and cultivate a high-level innovative postdoctoral talent team. The general funding of the Postdoctoral Science Foundation is to provide research initiation or supplementary funding for postdoctoral researchers to engage in independent innovation research during their stay at the station.

Since the establishment of the Business Administration Postdoctoral Research Mobile Station in 2019, SBM has been conscientiously carrying out the construction of the mobile station, and all work has been solid, effective, and progressing smoothly.
