He put forward a problem worth thinking: why people with better foreign language abilities can also be good at many other industries during the thirty-year revolution process? He thinks that besides generation characteristics, understanding culture and value of one country, having critical thinking, having good writing, analyzing, communication, negotiation , inspiring, organizing and public speaking skills are also important relevant. He thinks SISU's professional foreign language education is an important part of liberal education, which can help to pave a way to training talents in culture stratification during undergraduate courses and then  developing the ability and patience. Foreign-oriented schools need to keep innovating boldly, lay a solid foundation, value experiments, keep on humanistic education, develop compound subjects and train superior talents with deep humanistic qualities and superb expertise.

He also raised several suggestions for SISU development. He suggested that SISU should make good use of geographical advantage of Shanghai, the most internationalized city in China, and Yangtze River Delta, the most market-mined area. SISU should also make use of the location to realize the collection of logistics, population, information flows, financial flows and resource flows. And lastly, SISU should extend the meaning of Wai, that is, strengthening integrated education programs and training international, innovative, and leading talents.
