On August 23, the National Natural Science Foundation of China issued a notice on the evaluation results of the 2024 National Natural Science Foundation centralized acceptance application projects. A total of six projects from SBM at SISU received funding support. The National Natural Science Foundation of China is the main channel for supporting basic research in China, and the approval of the fund is an important indicator of the cutting-edge innovation capability and research management level of universities.

Among the sponsored teachers, four faculty, Deng Shasha, Luo Lijuan, Yuan Hui, and Shang Shanshan, received funding from the General Project, while two faculty, Min Xu and Wang Ruosi, received funding from the Youth Science Foundation.

These projects are based on the needs of the current economic and social development of the country, combined with the cutting-edge and emerging methods of data science, neuroscience, behavioral science and management science, and are intended to focus on solving the academic and practical hot issues under the management perspective of human-computer interaction, undergraduate education, Internet plus medical, health information management and information processing in the new era.

This achievement is a phased result of SBM's strong support from school leaders and relevant departments in recent years, focusing on the construction of research teams and platforms, emphasizing high-level scientific research, and increasing the introduction and cultivation of high-level talents. The faculty and students of SBM will continue to work hard to promote the construction of "Double First Class" disciplines and serve the national strategy through scientific research and innovation.
