Recently, Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) and EMLYON Business School have been officially accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) and EMLYON Business School officially signed the MBA Dual Degree Program in February 2021. As the first finance-oriented dual MBA degree program in Shanghai, the program builds an innovative curriculum that integrates international frontiers and Chinese practices, and gathers global outstanding financial management and investment professors and financial technology enterprise executives as instructors to cultivate financial talents with leading future thinking, international vision and independent thinking and sustainable development ability. Since its launch, the program has been well received by the market and the first batch of students enrolled in October this year. This cooperation is not only a joint exploration of the diversified international exchange and cooperation model between the two universities, but also an important initiative for the two universities to devote themselves to cultivating more globally competitive management talents.
This time, the double-degree program has been officially accredited by AMBA, which marks the high recognition of the training mode and quality of the program by the international accreditation organization, and is another solid step in the process of internationalization, which is of great significance to further improve the quality of talent training and international influence. The accreditation of this program by AMBA will further promote the all-round cooperation between the two schools in discipline construction, project cooperation, talent training and faculty development. AMBA was established in the UK in 1967, which is one of the three most authoritative international accreditation systems for business schools in the world, together with AACSB (American Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System), and is an international accreditation body specializing in the quality certification of MBA/EMBA programs. At present, only the top 2% of the world's top business schools have been accredited by AMBA.
